Totally forgot to mention that while on my trip to VT I re-learned and learned a couple things.

A - I re-learned that 3rd gear maxes out at 90. Nifty

B - I re-learned that patience is virtue

C - I learned that there ARE roads in VT that have heavy traffic. WHO KNEW!?

D - I learned that when you wash your car it is possible to have ALL the scenarios happen during the same day. A bird crapped on the left fender. It began to rain withing minutes of me washing my car. I then drove through 3 different storms adding to the insult. Lastly, I was lucky enough to drive through various large puddles adding even more an insult. Oy.

E - I learned that 4th gear maxes out at 120. Nifty

F - I re-learned that driving alone for more than an hour or two gets to be pretty damn boring. <- meaning -> out

Rainbows are absoluetly amazing! I drove through a rainbow yesterday. Seriously, I DROVE through a rainbow. Granted it was only for about 1 second, but hey - I did it! Along the way I saw 2 other rainbows. One was complete, the other partial. How did this come to be? Well, while driving through 3 short storms - about 5 minutes each - I looked out my windows and saw these glorious spectacles of nature.

I then saw the land of Vermont. 2.5 hours and 180 miles later I arrived in Vermont at some random motel that ’shi’ is staying at for another week. Why did I end up there? Well, after a few e-mails back and forth I figured ‘what the hell, why not?’ So it was this past evening that I met Pat and learned all sorts of things about the equis industry at large. Odd stuff I tell ya.

I think I finally have closure with a certain portion of my life now. I’ll know soon, but I think I finally have it. It has been a loooooooong time coming ’shi’, but we just might have done something that will give us that next chance. Go team! Next step… no clue. On this the eve of my 26th year on this planet I decided to spend some time alone. I’m glad I did too because my mind needed it, my heart needed it and my wallet. Twenty six years old. I will be 26 years old in less than 12 hours.

Neat.

What’s next? I’m aiming for something new in my occupation. Something to grip my interest such an intensity that I don’t want to leave work. In life I’d like to find another activity, other than soccer, that I can focus my physicality toward. Something like volleyball or iaido again. Iaido would ROCK!!! Then again, maybe it’s time to try Yoga. Hmmm

Okay, you’re thinking, ‘why are you home? go out! enjoy! party!’ Thing is, I really couldn’t care less that I’m ‘turning 26′ tomorrow. The age thing — enh, ‘whateva’. I’ll be old to some and young to others. Hell, some 17 year olds thought I was 18 last week. HA! I hadn’t shaved either! Wild times. Now if I could only meet (an older) woman. NOT OLDER, an older. Damn sematics. Yea yea yea.

Instead, I went to the ‘Children’s Science Museum’ in Hartford with ‘the door’ and enjoyed a relaxing walk at yet another park - Wollcott Park. Gotta love those parks. Hot digity dog. Hot Dog.
