10 Mar 2004 Jacqui?s Story - Drinking and Driving
 |  Category: world news  | Leave a Comment

Very few things really shock me. Texas Department of Transportation is running an ad campaign that made me gasp and even fear driving. Those of you that know me know I love driving. Drinking… I’ve never been a fan of drinking. In fact I’ve never had a drink in my life because I just don’t see the need for it. I will always be a DD and I will always be there for someone that needs a ride home. Hopefully others will see this ad and will see how devastating drinking and driving can be. Please pass this story on to friends and family.

All the while other people are out there NOT caring about the long term affects on everyone else. Think about HealthCare costs. Think about medical costs. If we were healthier we might be able to cut back on the health insurance money. End rant. = )

= ) That’s what I look like reading this story. A big ol grin graces my face and I laugh. Because something can be nutritious doesn’t mean it ALWAYS is. Salads have become the ‘hip’ thing to eat in hopes of losing weight over the past few years. Sadly all the food chains have latched onto this fad killing the truly healthy salad and making it a meal. A meal, just like most meals in restaurants, that can feed two or three people. Split your meal and save yourself the struggle and worry about your waist line.
