I said sometime ago that I would note when the server was officially UPS’d. I realized this evening that I completely failed to do this. Until now that is.
The Belkin 550VA UPS has been keeping an eye on the server for a couple weeks now and I’m happy to reprt that the server has not needed a reboot in at least 17 days. While this isn’t much I hope to see it surpass the 30 day mark and stay up and running until I get back from Japan which would put it at well over 60 days.
Three cheers for the UPS! (It’s about bleedin’ time I put one in place.)
