About

Gary Ploski grew up in the one, now three, traffic light town of Prospect, CT as an only child. During his formative years he was drawn to computers and soccer (goalkeeper). At the age of 21 he graduated from Teikyo Post University with a BS in Management Information Systems.

He then moved to Japan to teach English to elementary and junior high school students in Asaka, Japan for one year. Upon his return to CT he was invited to  join 3rd Act – a small acting school/company that had just opened its doors. Something sparked.

The next step led him to work with New Zenith Theatre, a company that reaches out young audiences, for a number of years where Gary first performed Shakespeare, Tennessee Williams, and other well known and unknown playwrights.

Gary knew he needed to learn more about the history of theatre and the craft of acting if he was going to get anywhere in theatre so he applied to and was accepted into the Sarah Lawrence College MFA program with a focus in acting. There he met and worked with John Dillon, Ed Sherin, Michael Early, and a number of NYC directors, writers, and performers.

Presently Gary’s focus is web related and hopes to find a web series to work on.
