Production experience
My hair was chopped and then dyed… red. Yes’m, red. I was a young Irish boy with a bad family in A Wrinkle in Time. What a fun show. With a raked stage, three wonderful ‘monster’ costumes, fiber optic stars, and projected images this show went to technical happy land.
It was, I think, the most innocent and inspirational show I’ve been a part of to date. Very rarely is this performed which added to the enthusiasm of the cast and the audience. Talk backs with the students was fun. I remember one question about how often Meg (Lissa Romaine) and I practiced our kiss. We kissed once before the show went up but I said “Oh. We had to practice a whole bunch.” The kids ate it up not hesitating to say “Eww!” So silly.
