Evaluation

Gary Ploski was a student in Acting the Poetic Text during 2004-2005 school year. I did not write an evaluation at that time because I was under the impression that he was merely auditing the class. Gary did consistently good work throughout the year. He is an extremely diligent student. I continue to be impressed with Gary’s professionalism and work ethic. He understands that becoming a skilled craftsman is an on-going process. It has been a delight to witness Gary’s considerable growth over the years. I encourage him to take more emotional risks in his acting.
Personal Evaluation
What I am unhappy to say about much of the time spent during Michael’s class is that I was not at 100%. During class I was hesitant and choose the easy way out. Thankfully Michael stepped in and did his thing.
At times he pushed me. Other times he let me go on my own. When I was frustrated he aided me to direct my energy back into the piece. Thankfully this is the last time Michael’s class will be offered once a week. With such an inconsistent schedule any momentum that was found in class disappeared completely.
Before I complete my degree I intend on taking Michael’s class again.
