KOJIKI

The KOJIKI is the oldest piece of literature in Japanese culture. It chronicles Creation and the coming of sex, love, and death to the world. Students in the Theatre Program’s Collective Creation course are presenting scenes inspired by this extraordinary work.
Production experience
It was fun, sure, but it wasn’t what I hoped it would be. An afternoon of short plays all touching on the topic of the Kojiki turned out to be just that – disconnected. I wonder, when I look back, what could have become had we all put our energies into one piece instead of many. Sadly, I’ll never know.
