Production experience
With only 2, maybe 3, reads through the script we, the three of us, took to the semi-stage and took this sucker home! This was the first piece I had a chance to dig my teeth into after nearly a semester worth of class work. I devoured it whole!
I found myself moving without thought. The text inspired me within to play. Afterward I was complimented by a variety of theatre staff, students, and emma on my performance. She said it was one of the best things she’s seen me in. I was on cloud 9 living up the chance to play. It felt good to give life to someone very much not me. What’s next? =)
