SIX AUTHORS (IN SEARCH OF A CHARACTER)
Monday, January 23 – 7:30 P.M. (2006), Frances Ann Cannon Workshop Theatre The Theatre Program invites you to a reading of a new play, SIX AUTHORS (IN SEARCH OF A CHARACTER) by graduate student Lori Leigh, directed by Allen Lang. Sexuality. Scrabble. Storytelling. Sounding better. SIX AUTHORS (IN SEARCH OF A CHARACTER) explores a young writer’s reality of discovering her true identity amidst friendship, fiction, and a fiance. Come see this exciting work and stay for a brief discussion after the play, moderated by playwright Cassandra Medley.

Production experience

Playing the strangely non-frightening homeless guy that has been published more than any of the other characters in the play I found a freedom within the text. With a hat borrowed from Ali and an old suit jacket I stumbled and yelled and laughed through Norman. It would have been fun to have more time to dabble in his world.
