In the tall grass of rural America, the impassioned choices of youth culminate in a bloody collision of love, sex and betrayal in this eerie retelling of The Changeling. Written by Melanie Marnich, directed by Elizabeth Miller, featuring Jillian Fisher, Aaron Matteson, Malcolm Pepin, Gary Ploski, Winston Shaw, and

Production experience
This was a first. A whole and complete experience. I have not, nor do I anticipate, had such an amazing time on a show. Before anything even began the show was off like a rocket.
The professionalism handled during such a wild audition process – great.
The time spent communicating mundane details – minimal.
The use of acting exercises – a welcomed surprise.
The major milestone missing for Tallgrass Gothic? A second weekend. Word of mouth had only begun to spread as the show’s set was dismantled. It was unfortunate for the community and those involved. Though, truly, that was the worst thing about the show.
Off stage the show offered my personal life an opportunity to learn how to communicate more effectively. I prefer not to speak further about that topic here.
