Monday, March 7 – 7:00 p.m. (2005), Open Space Theatre, PAC The Theatre Program invites you to a reading of THE TENDER, by Gregor Drozdek, directed by Carol Biaggi, featuring Gunnar Babcock, Devin Bokaer, Geno Carr, Lindsay Doleshal, Naomi Finkelstein, Chad Hensley, Jarrett Karlsberg, Gary Ploski, Hannah Snyder-Beck, Matt Stapleton, and Eli Steffen. THE TENDER follows Joe Morgan, a neighborhood bartender in New York City, who is consumed by gambling, drinking, his mother and the love of a forbidden woman. Please stay after the reading for a brief discussion with the playwright, moderated by Edward Allan Baker.
Production experience
One full rehearsal later… Show time. Looking back at this piece I wish there was time to have rehearsed at least one more time. I figured out few things just as I read the text. I had gone for something in the text but found something else to go after. It was exciting and frustrating.
