Mr. Trent has penned a new play titled ‘But if I had to Perish Twice’ for lil ol me. The play was written in January during a brief mental brain storm. I think he told me it took about 1 to 1.5 hours to get the core of the play into being. And so began the tale of ‘But if I had to Perish Twice’.

Why did I ask him to write it for me? Honestly, for many reasons. One, I needed to direct a play with a maximum running time of 30 minutes (Directing Workshop with Dave McRee at the helm) and I thought he might have an idea for a short play.

Secondly I knew this was a great opportunity for BT to see a play of his performed. Thirdly, he’s my best friggin friend! I wanted to direct something HE wrote, not some other writer. Sheesh! What other reason would I need? Absolutely none. I want to get his name out there damn it and I think this will help. = ) (Click Read More for the show details)
