ConEd

Upon speaking with a ConEd representative I’ve been informed that they do NOT do a meter reading when someone cancels. They base the use on the previous estimate. Now this doesn’t chime in with my experience when I canceled my service with ConEd a few months ago but policies do change.

What does this mean? It means contact ConEd before you move into your new place. Ask when the meter is read then schedule your new service for that day. Eff the fact that you have to pay for someone else’s service. Eff that with a capital get a clue ConEd. You’re effin over new customers. Argh!
