Like Plosk said, we did well. We promoted ourselves without being cocky. I believe we came across as a mature young couple starting their lives together with the desire to have a home of their own.
That does not stop my nerves from being jumpy. We’ve put so much work into this, and want it so badly. I think we did well, but the decision is not in our hands. And we did get the question: “So, uh, curiously…on your form you said you were domestic partners…have you set a date?” And we gave the answer we were comfortable giving. We’ve talked about it, but are focusing on investing in our future and getting our masters right now. We were ourselves.
We walked back to slc to get the car, drove home, Plosk gave me a message, and we watched a firefly. He always does his best to relax me:)
